Introduction:

 

This power supply is designed for domestic and international use. It will accommodate input voltages from 100.0 to 250.0 VAC, 50Hz or 60Hz.

 

NOTE: The power supply changes voltages at either 50Hz or 60 Hz; it does not change frequency.

 

The output voltage is 120.0 VAC nominal; the output current is 4.20 Amps AC.

 

NOTE: This is a total maximum current from either or both outlets.

 

The input is protected by a fuse and the output is protected by a 5.0 Amp circuit breaker.

 

 

Operating Instructions:

 

1)      To set proper voltage, remove center fuse on voltage selector switch.

2)      After removing fuse holder, insert coin or screwdriver blade into selector switch slot. Turn switch to desired voltage as indicated on pages 3-5, then insert fuse holder with fuse back into selector switch and turn inlet switch on.

3)      CAUTION -Make sure correct input voltage has been chosen. Failure to do so may cause damage to device plugged into outlet.

4)      If the input fuse needs to be replaced use only a 5MDL fuse.

 

 

Accessories:

 

1)      Each power supply comes with 11 input cords so as to accommodate the respective country it is used in. Each cord is labeled with: SNC part number, country, and voltage.

 

 

Safety:

 

1)      Use standard safety precautions as when handling any electrical device or appliance.

2)      This supply is not intended to be used in wet environments unless properly protected.

Note:

When the Global Voltage Changer is used in a country with a range of input voltages (example: India/South Africa @ 220V-250V), make sure it is understood what voltage the utility company is generating to prevent damaging the device plugged in to the power supply’s output.
