SNC Manufacturing Co., Inc. is dedicated to quality in its corporate activity. Our commitment to quality and the continuous improvement of product, services and processes enables us to be responsive to customer expectations.

SNC applies Total Quality Improvement by progressive elimination of waste in all activities. We will continue to apply the prevention system approach to improve quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, competitive market position and employee job security.

Our Quality Improvement Process includes all of our employees in the training and application of statistical methods. Our refinements in the coordination of material, labor, production techniques and communication with our customers and suppliers will lead to the practical application of a "Just in Time" delivery system.

Quality Assurance and Control

There's only one good way to keep customers coming back - consistently provide them with a high level of service and quality so they have the confidence to use SNC transformers without hesitation.

Statistical process control techniques are used throughout our manufacturing plants to help us gauge just how well we're doing for our customers. This detailed quality control and statistical analysis provides immediate inspection data at each stage of production and testing. Rejects and warranty returns are measured ppm (parts per million), providing a constant reminder of how well we're doing.

SNC quality is a concept that extends throughout our organization... from design, to sample production, to manufacturing and final testing. And it shows in the variety and quality of products in which our transformers are used.

LIMITED WARRANTY

1. Limited Warranty:

SNC MANUFACTURING CO., INC., ("SNC") warrants that, for a period of three (3) years after sale, that products manufactured by us shall be of first class materials and workmanship, made in conformance to standard practices and, where applicable, Buyer's specifications. Outside purchased equipment and accessories, if any, are warranted only to the extent of the original equipment manufacturer's warranty.

SNC makes no warranty whatsoever as to: a) Failure or damage due to a purchaser's negligence, accidents, abuse, improper installation, improper operation, or abnormal conditions of temperature, moisture, dirt of other general design parameters; b) Equipment which has in any way been readjusted, altered or repaired without our written consent; c) Expenses incurred by purchaser in any attempt to correct or repair any alleged defect without our written consent; d) products manufactured to incomplete or inaccurate specifications.

2. Disclaimers of Warranties:

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH IN PARAGRAPH 1 ARE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES GIVEN BY SNC. SNC HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OTHERWISE ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

3. Buyer's Remedies:

If the product fails to conform to the warranties set forth in paragraph 1 and such nonconformity is not due to misuse or improper maintenance, Buyer shall notify SNC as provided in paragraph 1, and shall make the product available for inspection by SNC or its designated agent. At the request of SNC any defective part shall be returned to SNC for examination, with transportation charges prepaid and assumed by Buyer. Within a reasonable time SNC shall provide, at its option, with respect to a product which fails to conform to our Warranty either: (a) repair or replacement of such nonconforming or defective product; or (b) full refund of its purchase. Repair or replacement shall be made only by a facility approved in advance by SNC. THIS REMEDY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.

4. Exclusion of Consequential and Incidental Damages.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SNC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WEHTHER RESULTING FROM NONDELIVERY OR FROM THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT OR FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF SNC OR FROM TORT. This exclusion applies regardless of whether such damages are sought for breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence or strict liability in tort or under any other legal theory.
