Job Description Summary

Plans, directs, and supervises the daily operation of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, cost accounting, fixed asset, and general ledger activities under the direction of the VP of Finance. Performs month end close and prepares monthly financial statements and, in collaboration with the Company’s outside auditors, prepares year end financial statements. These duties are for the Company as a whole, and include the Wisconsin, Mexico, and China divisions. Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance or as necessary to assure proper daily functioning of the accounting department.

Minimum Requirements of Employer:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Desired
  • Professional Licenses/Certifications: No Licenses or Certifications Requested
  • Age: 18 or older Required
  • Experience/Qualifications: Equivalent to 4 years of college education or over 7 years up to and including 9 years of experience preferred. Wide variety of duties involving generally accepted accounting principles and knowledge of related company policies and procedures. Considerable judgment required to function independently. Utmost integrity required. Flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for over 50% of the time in usual office working conditions.
