Job Description Summary

Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all servers, computer workstations, network, printers and associated software. The IT Technician will be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues relating to day-to-day hardware and software activities, as well as diagnostic and recovery aid during abnormal situations. This position will also be the first point of contact to outside hardware and software related partners and will report to the Vice President of Finance.

  • Install, configure and assist with ongoing usability of system hardware and software
  • Verify functionality of hardware and software components
  • Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel users experiencing computer-related issues by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, and remote desktop configurations in person, remotely and via phone
  • Conduct daily network backup operations
  • Educate and train staff in the PC network environment
  • Maintain records of activities
  • Assist in the analysis and development of detail system requirements
  • Monitor and correct problems with printers as needed
  • Perform other related duties that require familiarity with source data and system controls as assigned or associated with the responsibility

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications of Employer

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.


  • 3+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
  • 2+ years’ experience on current network operating systems.
  • Familiar with Office365 and related Microsoft Office Programs, Windows Server 2003-2012.

Other Qualifications:

  • Considerable judgment required to work independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a varied audience.
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required

  • Work Site: 101 West Waukau Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54902
  • Pay: Based on Experience
  • Durations/Usual Hours Per Week:  Permanent, Full-Time Exempt, 40 hours/week minimum and on call as needed.
  • Shift/Work Days: First Shift. Monday-Friday. 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
